By Masako Miyazaki

Miyazaki uses a parable of a monkey-monster from her country of birth to question our place within nature. She chooses organic processes and materials such as handmade paper and sunlight, and combines photos with poetry to stimulate the imagination.

This photobook was launched in conjunction with the Where Songs Surface 詩が生まれる場所 exhibit, featuring artists Masako Miyazaki and Yoshimi Lee.
