A Tree is a collection of poems and photography by Masako Miyazaki. Like humans, Miyazaki sees individual trees with personalities subject to changes. Her poetic story reflects the artists' past and present, and emotions that root out of immigration, while capturing the vision though her photography. Photos are presented in black and white. Poems come in Japanese, English and French. Limited prints.
Masako Miyazaki
Born in Tokyo, Japan. After studying photography at Tokyo Visual Arts College, she received a Master of Fine Arts from Concordia University, Montreal. Since 2006, she has had numerous solo and group exhibitions in Canada, Japan, Taiwan and France. One of her previous publications is "The Other Side" ( published by Tosei-sha in 2011)
